Our Story
Johnson Academy was born from a vision to create an educational environment where faith and academic excellence work in harmony. Founded by Brian and Quinetta Johnson, the school emerged from their combined passion for education and desire to serve the Kissimmee community through Christ-centered learning.
As professional educators with backgrounds in teaching and creative arts, the Johnson’s recognized a growing need in the Kissimmee area for a school that would partner with families in providing both rigorous academics and authentic spiritual formation. After years of prayer and planning, they began assembling a team of like-minded educators and community leaders who shared their vision for holistic Christian education.
What began as a dream in the hearts of the founding family has developed into a comprehensive educational model designed to serve children from infancy through high school graduation. Each step in the journey has reinforced our conviction that students thrive when challenged academically in an environment that nurtures spiritual growth.

Statement of Faith
The Bible: We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, the final authority for faith and life.
God: We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ: We believe in the deity of Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
Salvation: We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
Holy Spirit: We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling Christians are enabled to live godly lives.
Creation: We believe God created humanity in His image and that each person is fearfully and wonderfully made.
The Church: We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, called to fulfill the Great Commission.
