Admissions - FAQ

Johnson Academy offers a unique educational experience through our integrated approach to faith and learning, arts-enriched curriculum, and commitment to individualized attention. As a new school, we're building our educational model on best practices while creating a vibrant community culture from the ground up.

We're committed to maintaining small class sizes to ensure personal attention. Target enrollment:

• Elementary: 16-18 students per class
• Middle School: 18-20 students per class
• High School: 20-22 students per class

All Johnson Academy teachers will hold appropriate degrees in their teaching fields, demonstrate personal Christian faith, and commit to ongoing professional development. Many will bring years of experience in both public and private education settings.

While we welcome families from diverse backgrounds, parents must be supportive of our Christian educational philosophy and understand that biblical teaching will be integrated throughout all aspects of school life. Students and families are not required to sign a statement of faith but should be comfortable in an environment where Christian principles are taught as truth.

Initially, Johnson Academy will not provide transportation services. Carpooling options will be facilitated through our parent portal for interested families.

Yes, we plan to offer extended care options before and after regular school hours for an additional fee. Details will be provided with enrollment materials.

Our inaugural year will include various clubs, student leadership opportunities, and select sports programs. Additional activities will be added based on student interest and staffing capabilities as we grow.
