At Johnson Academy, we believe that education extends far beyond the classroom. Our student life programs are designed to develop the whole child—intellectually, spiritually, physically, and socially—in a Christ-centered environment. From athletics to arts, community service to chapel, every aspect of student life reinforces our mission of fostering academic excellence, spiritual growth, and community engagement.
Current Athletics Plans (2025-2026)
For our inaugural year, we will offer a foundational athletics program including:
-Elementary intramural sports (K-5)
-Middle school competitive teams (6-8)
-Boys and girls basketball
-Boys and girls soccer
-Coed volleyball
-Cross country
Future Athletic Development
As our school grows, we plan to expand our athletics offerings to include:
-High school varsity and junior varsity teams
-Additional sports such as baseball, softball, tennis, and golf
-Participation in regional Christian school athletic associations
-Enhanced facilities including gymnasium and athletic fields
All coaches will be trained not only in their sport but also in mentoring student-athletes to develop Christ-like character through athletic competition.
