The first step toward enrollment at Johnson Academy is joining our waiting list. This helps us gauge community interest while keeping you informed about important developments as we prepare for our inaugural school year.
-Complete the waiting list form on our website
-Receive confirmation email and welcome packet
-Stay updated with monthly newsletters about our progress
Step 2: Application
Our formal application process has begun. Families on our waiting list will be the first to receive access.
-Submit online application with basic family and student information
-Pay non-refundable application fee ($75 per student)
-Schedule family interview
Step 3: Family Interview
The family interview is an important opportunity for us to get to know your family and for you to learn more about our educational approach.
-Parents and prospective student(s) meet with admissions team
-Discussion of educational goals, faith background, and student needs
-Opportunity to ask questions about curriculum, community, and culture
Step 4: Student Assessment
Age-appropriate assessments help us understand your child's academic strengths and needs, allowing us to provide the best possible educational experience.
-Academic readiness assessment
-Character and learning style reflection.
-Previous school records review (if applicable)
Step 5: Admissions Decision
Following the completion of all application components, the admissions committee will review your child's application and provide a timely response.
-Acceptance, waitlist, or non-acceptance notification
-Enrollment contract sent with acceptance letter
-Deposit required to secure placement
Step 6: Enrollment Completion
Once accepted, several steps will finalize your child's enrollment:
-Return signed enrollment contract
-Submit enrollment deposit
-Complete all required forms and documentation
-Attend new family orientation
